About InnerBay Boats
We are situated on Inner Bay within storied Long Point Bay of Lake Erie's north shore. This is the heart of the Carolinian forest in beautiful Norfolk County, Ontario. Innerbay Boats is carrying on the historic Long Point tradition of finest wooden boat design, building, and restoration. Having access to nearby southern woodland tree species, we are able to make cost-effective use of rot-resistant woods such as black locust and eastern white cedar, in addition to the exotics
Each boat we build or restore recieves careful attention. Whether it's a rebuild from the keel up or a strip and refinish, all boats are treated with special care. We use a blend of traditional and modern techniques and materials to help preserve our marine heritage.
Cedar strip and cedar lapstrake have been our specialty over the past 12 years.
